What To Expect
The program is a 15-month faith-based program designed to support individuals who are overcoming life-controlling issues and recovering from addiction, depression, or abuse. The program is structured to eliminate distractions so that participants can focus on building a healthy foundation to rebuild their lives.
Our program provides housing, counseling, assistance with employment, and life classes that guide participants toward recovery and build everyday life skills through a Christ-centered curriculum based on biblical principles
To enter the Dream Center program, individuals must be sober, drug-free, and willing to change. Weekly room checks and monthly drug tests are required.
We Provide:
-
Housing
Our campus consists of 21 residential rooms along with a laundry room, chapel, community room with full kitchen, dining area, living room, and computer room. We also have an outdoor playground, basketball court, and community outdoor area picnic tables, grill, fire pit, and games.
-
Life Classes
A part of the Dream Center program are life classes designed to help residents deal with past trauma and develop the skills to succeed in the future. Classes cover budgeting, conflict, grief, past trauma, substance recovery, biblical principles, and more.
-
Community Services
Through our Adopt-A-Block outreach, the Dream Center partners with many volunteers and other organizations to visit underserved neighborhoods with the goal of finding a need and filling it. Our outreach programs include distributing food, hygiene items and other essentials, playing with kids, picking up trash, and visiting families door-to-door.
-
Skill Development
We work with other businesses and organization to give our residence the opportunity to get experience to learn job skills, trades and have hands on experience in the job force.
